Green Smoothie serves
Any one who knows me well, I always have Bananas in my freezer ready to go for a green smoothie. Peel the skin before placing in the freezer.
1 cup spinach
1 cup kale
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup fresh pineapple
1 tbspn coconut oil
1/2 tspn maca powder- for energy and hormonal balance
1/2 tspn spirulina
Add water first, then all ingredients in the blender, blend well until smooth and creamy.
This drink is great on the run and makes enough for you to have later in your day or even the next day. Smoothies keep for 48 hrs, unlike juices.
Keep a smoothie in your fridge everyday, as you just never know what might happen in your day. If you get busy or need to eat on the run, you have one ready to go.
Tip Drink slowly and at room temperature, much easier on your digestive system.
